Ancillary products and services

Umbilical floats
These floats comprise a pair of symmetrical half shells which are designed to allow the line to flex within its operating parameters.

The floats are manufactured using a composite foam core covered in impact and abrasion resistant polyethylene.

Standard sizes range from 25-150mm OD while typical uplift ranges from 12-35kg per float in depths to 6000msw.
 
FlexLink umbilical buoyancy
Designed to be used by large trenching vehicles that operate on the seabed, FlexLink provides a continuous, articulate buoyancy section above the vehicle to ensure the umbilical remains out of the work zone at all times.

The system is used on umbilicals ranging from 25-150mmOD with the buoyancy being specified to match project requirements. Typical uplift is 6-12kg/m in depths to 6000msw.
