5 May 2008 6930msw equivalent testing at Balmoral Park Since receiving a substantial operational investment during 2007, Balmoral’s hydrostatic test centre has been carrying out compression, uniaxial, density and water absorption tests on behalf of external clients as well as on its own products.
Pressure testing to simulated depths of almost 7000msw the Balmoral Hydrostatic Test Centre provides a comprehensive service according to test house manager, Chas Daniel. “Our vessels use air driven liquid pumps and can accommodate electric, hydraulic and instrumentation connections as well as full size subsea buoyancy and PU products.
“We can fit all our vessels with chart recorders, pressure and temperature dataloggers which provide very detailed results for analysis.”
