Amanda and Donald's online donations

Insch couple, Amanda Corsellis and Donald Jack are all set to tie the knot later this year in the beautiful setting of Meldrum House Hotel, Oldmeldrum. The generous thoughtful couple decided to help support Friends of ANCHOR on their big day.

Update from Amanda;
“We decided to bring our wedding date forward from September to 31st July so that Don’s brother, Nick, could be at our wedding. Our ceremony took place at Insch Hospital and all the staff were amazing, they really made this emotional day extra special for us all, so we would like to thank them for their great kindness”.

Amanda & Don’s story
“Don and I will be married at Meldrum House Hotel on Sunday 12th September 2010, in front of family members and friends. We are both really excited and looking forward to a wonderful day.

Instead of the usual gift lists and wedding presents, we decided to ask our wedding guests to make a donation to Friends of ANCHOR instead as we have seen first hand how the charity really helps support the Aberdeen Royal Infirmary’s ANCHOR unit."

Don’s brother, Nick, has unfortunately been struggling in his battle against bowel cancer and the ANCHOR unit team have been a huge support to him.

"We really wanted to show just how very grateful we are to all of them and also to thank them for everything they have done for Nick."
