How your donations are used

Your donations fund the purchase of non-NHS provided equipment for Aberdeen Royal Infirmary's ANCHOR (Aberdeen & North Centre for Haematology, Oncology & Radiotherapy) unit. They also fund additional care, comfort and support for patients attending the ANCHOR unit and, last but not least, they fund vital ground breaking research projects at the University of Aberdeen's Institute of Medical Science at Foresterhill, Aberdeen.

Every year thanks to generous donations Friends of ANCHOR can continue to offer even more support to the ANCHOR unit and  is constantly looking at new initiatives to further assist the remarkable work carried out there.

Every penny donated to Friends of ANCHOR goes directly to the charity as all administration costs are funded by sponsorship from Balmoral Group.
