The charity would like to thank Katrine and everyone involved in the special evenings and to everyone who contributed to this fantastic amount of money raised, it is very much appreciated.
Twilight charity walk
On Friday 11 June 2010, 42 Denmore Park gals & pals decided to raise money for charity. The ladies and their friends were all wearing most the most amazingly decorated and embellished bras, which they had created themselves. They set off at 9pm from Denmore Park, Bridge of Don Aberdeen and walked to Fittie and back, a total of eight miles. Although it was a week before mid summer it was Aberdeen so the walk was a very long and cold one especially along the beach front. However despite the weather and blisters two charities benefited from the girls night-time adventure, Breast cancer care UK who recieved £2,626 and Friends of ANCHOR who recieved £2,124.
Friends of ANCHOR would like to thank the ladies who took part and to all their supporters and sponors.
