MATERIALS/STORES CONTROLLER (WebT508)
Based at Balmoral Park, Aberdeen, and reporting to the Factory Manager, the Materials/Stores Controller will be responsible for providing an efficient service to the production dept by ensuring that stocks of raw materials, tools and components are maintained and that inventories are accurate.
Key responsibilities include:
• Monitoring of stock levels
• Expediting stock orders
• Preparation of job kits from bills of materials
• Highlighting variations in quantity, quality or certification to the Factory Manager
A background in manufacturing will be an advantage, but equally important is the ability to manage and control the ordering, receipt and issue of stock, ensuring an economic use of resources and continuity of production. Competence in the use of MS applications, particularly Word and Excel, is essential.
The successful candidate will be enthusiastic and motivated, a good communicator, and capable of working effectively without direct supervision.
