Established in 1980 by chairman and managing director, Sir James Milne CBE, Balmoral Group encompasses a diverse range of businesses, including Balmoral Comtec in the energy sector, Balmoral Tanks for bulk liquid storage, Blaze Manufacturing Solutions, The Marcliffe Hotel & Spa, and property development through Balmoral Park Ltd.

At Group HQ in Aberdeen, Balmoral Comtec has created an industry-leading product design and manufacturing facility that includes laboratory, design engineering, production, and testing facilities focused on the offshore energy sectors.

Balmoral Tanks’ Yorkshire facility designs and produces glass fused to steel and epoxy coated tanks for the water, wastewater, aquaculture and anaerobic digestion markets, and also operates a design and manufacturing business in South Wales providing GRP sectional tanks as well as cylindrical steel tanks for the global water storage and fire-fighting sectors.

Balmoral Park Ltd is the company’s property development division. Covering some 18 acres Balmoral Business Park in Aberdeen is home to three auto dealerships and features a 40,500sqft high-specification office pavilion.

Housed in the pavilion is @BalmoralHUB, home to executive office space and co-working facilities that’s administered by Elevator, a social enterprise dedicated to supporting entrepreneurs, business leaders and employees.

Sister company, Blaze Manufacturing Solutions, provides fire safety protection and detection solutions.

The company also supports many charities through its foundation and fully funds the fundraising team at Friends of Anchor.
